Niagara Falls Sports Expo

As an exhibitor at the Niagara Falls Sports Expo held March 29, 2014 at the Scotiabank Convention Centre, representatives from the Canadian Motor Speedway updated more than 2,000 sports enthusiasts about the development of the 65,000 seat motorsports race-track. With more than 50,000 square feet of Sports merchandise, memorabilia and sporting associations, visitors also had the chance to meet  NHL, MLB and NFL celebrities such as Johnny Bower, Gilbert Perrault, Steve Ludzik, Pete Rose, Kelly Gruber and Cornelius Bennet at the event.

The inaugural Niagara Falls Sports Expo was successful and the organizers are already making plans for a bigger and better 2015 event!

Chamber of Commerce Memberships

For over a year, the Canadian Motor Speedway has been a proud member of the Greater Fort Erie Chamber of Commerce.  We have attended several ‘Business After Five’ networking events, the Annual General Meeting, Southern Tier Mayor’s luncheon, the State of the Region address, Mayor’s Drive for Business Golf Tournament, talked to residents at the Fort Erie Trade Show and presented the Technology, Innovation and Environmental Award to Miller’s Auto Recycling at the Business Excellence Awards.  It has been a positive experience getting to know the people and businesses that make up the Town of Fort Erie…and now we are pleased to expand and join the Niagara Falls Chamber of Commerce and the Greater Niagara Chamber of Commerce.

Technology Skills Canada Competitions

Canadian Motor Speedway was proud to attend the Niagara Catholic District School Board’s High School Technology Skills Challenge at Seaway Mall in Welland, Ontario on March 4th, 2014.  We spent the day with Niagara College and their Motive Power program students who were the judges for the skills competition.

CMS will be part of the Niagara College display for the Ontario Technological Skills Canada Competition at RIM Park in Waterloo on May 5th and 6th. We look forward to cheering on the Niagara College students in their post-secondary competitions as well as the the Niagara Catholic School Board and District School Board of Niagara’s secondary students.
