Much More Than A Speedway

Two of the most significant benefits of the Canadian Motor Speedway represent both job creation and the economic and fiscal impact to the Region. Corporate responsibility and the ability to be a positive contributor to this great country is a core pillar of our investment strategy. With over 1200 new jobs to be created and an annual tax impact of $34 Million per year to the Niagara Region (E&Y Economic and Fiscal Impact Study), the Canadian Motor Speedway endeavors to continually build upon the benefits it will deliver to its neighbours and local governments well beyond its inception.
Hiring is expected to begin in mid 2010. Be sure to check out our website and media announcements periodically for a list of the exciting positions to apply for. What?
A Speedway That Respects The Environment?

In fact, the Canadian Motor Speedway’s Bio-Diversity plan will actually enhance the existing environmental features on the site with the creation of additional and sustainable creeks, storm water ponds, and an Eco Park, which exemplifies a co-existence between the modernized and natural world. We are very proud to represent that the Canadian Motor Speedway does not impede on a single environmentally significant feature on the original lands. Working together with various environmental organizations and government ministries, coupled with elements of LEED Design in our track, the Canadian Motor Speedway truly is a friend to its environment. Another unique feature for speedways globally.
"The best site for a major motor sports facility in North America"
"When you have the best site for a major motor sports facility in North America, in the heart of the largest racing fan base on the Continent, supported by a development consortium consisting of the industry's best, the result is the Canadian Motor Speedway. As Mayor and on behalf of the great citizens of Fort Erie, we are honoured to be the host of this truly amazing and unique endeavour."
